I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Oregon and was a therapist for 18 years. I transitioned my practice from therapy to coaching in 2017 after realizing so many of my clients didn’t need psychotherapy as much as they needed coaching. (You can read about the difference here.) They weren’t necessarily sick or broken, they were whole, competent people who were struggling with life stuff - careers, relationships, their purpose in life. They wanted a plan to move forward in their life and the accountability to stick with it. Coaching allows me to partner with clients in a more creative, collaborate and authentic way and my clients love the results.
My coaching style is intuitive, practical and always focuses on the entire person, not just the current challenge. I work with men and women on self-care, mindset, goal setting and taking real action to improve their lives. I have a strong passion for supporting parents and those who need a plan to take better care of themselves.
